Volunteer with Greenbatch

Greenbatch is run by a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers. Joining the Greenbatch crew is a great way to meet like minded people and to take positive action towards helping our environment.

There are lots of ways to get involved, with opportunities for people of many different skill sets and availabilities.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Warehouse: Sorting & Shredding

Location: Greenbatch HQ, 4 Brookland Way, Mount Claremont

Times:Weekdays 9.30am to 12.30pm OR 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Please check the volunteer sign up to see what days are available. .

Requirements: Closed in shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. PPE equipment will be provided.

Events

Location: Greenbatch is proud to partner with festivals, concerts and markets to help their recycling output

Times: As required. .

Requirements:

• Reasonable level of fitness.

• Closed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty .

Schools Program: Workshops and Presentations

Location: Adhoc - Perth metropolitan area

Times: Weekdays during school hours

Requirements:

• Working with Children check

• Police clearance

• Experience with kids or teaching qualification

Marketing

Location: Greenbatch Balcatta office or working from home

Times: As required

Requirements:

• Experience with graphic design

• Experience with creating content for social media and video editing

• Website experience

Drivers

Location: Meeting point at Greenbatch HQ, 4 Brookland Way, Mount Claremont and then drive the truck throughout Perth to pick up sorted waste from our schools’ network.

Times: Every Thursday from 9am to 2pm.

Requirements:

• C Class driver’s license

• Being confident driving the truck (similar to a moving truck) or keen to learn.

Community Talks

Location: Adhoc - Perth metropolitan area

Times: As Required.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of the Greenbatch story and our mission.

•Confident speaking to large audiences

Office/Admin/IT

Location: Greenbatch HQ Mount Claremont or Balcatta

Times: As Required.

Requirements:

• Experience with Google suites and Microsoft products.

•Previous office or receptionist experience desirable but also happy to upskill to give you experience.

Technical: Engineering & Logistics

Location: Greenbatch HQ Mount Claremont or Balcatta

Times: As Required.

Requirements:

• Engineering experience

•Any trades - plumbing/electricians etc.
